This picture is of the progress being made on Pine Street, near the houses on Manning.

 

The Columbia Housing and Development Corporation reports that the contracts for three Manning Street houses (the relocated ones) have been sent to City Council and should appear on the next agenda.  Work will begin almost immediately once approved by Council. 

CHDC is in the process of obtaining appraisals on these properties so they can start pre-qualifying buyers for them.  They will have special financing mechanisms in place for the lucky purchasers including low down payment loans that have a reduced interest. The floor plans for these homes are online and they are going to be beautiful and all brick. All three of the homes will have at least 2 bathrooms with 3 bedrooms and two of them have fireplaces in the master bedroom with a "sitting area" attached.
